Our Story

At CatchCatch Creations, we believe play isn’t just for kids — it’s a way to connect, celebrate, and stay active at every stage of life. From the energy of a hockey rink to the quiet focus of a mahjong table, we design custom gifts that capture the spirit of play and the joy of community.

We started with sports-inspired gifts — pickleball paddles, cheer team keepsakes, and hockey memorabilia — and now we’re expanding into board games, mahjong, and everything that keeps the love of play alive. What began as a creative outlet from the demands of corporate law has grown into crafting gifts that celebrate community, spark smiles, and make every moment of giving personal. Crafted. From Big Law to Something Missing

I’m Winnie — a NYC attorney turned maker. But long before law school, I was someone who loved creating gifts with my hands.

When I stepped into corporate big law, I found myself in a world far from play: long hours, high-pressure deadlines, and work in private investment funds that was intellectually challenging — but lacked creativity, joy, and community.

Something was missing.

Craving Creativity & Connection

Starting my career in the middle of the pandemic only made that feeling sharper. With no coworkers around and little sense of connection, I craved something more.

I missed the moments that brought people together. I longed to return to my favorite childhood pastime — crafting by hand.

More than anything, I wanted to create pieces that celebrated community, sparked joy, and honored the simple, universal love of play.

Why CatchCatch

Now, newly married to the most supportive partner I could ask for, I’ve been encouraged to lean fully into that creative side.

Together, we believe play isn’t just for kids — it’s essential at every age. One of our favorite pastimes is simply playing catch, and that spirit of joy and connection inspired the name CatchCatch Creations.

Today, every item I design reflects that journey — leaving behind what didn’t fulfill me, embracing what sparks joy, and crafting gifts that bring people together through the love of play.
